When you send me a request for information, I will first ask you about your wishes and your address/company information.
- What kind of company does it regard?
- Do you have an idea of what you want the new logo to look like?
- What text should be displayed in the logo?
- Is there a specific font you prefer?
- If a drawing needs to be included, what should it look like?
- Are there any specific colours you want used?
- What atmosphere should the logo create?
- Do you have any examples of a specific style that you like?
Of course, you can also approach me for other graphic designs, such as business cards, writing paper, posters, signboards, etc. When your wishes are clear to me, I will draw up a quotation for you. This will estimate the number of hours required to complete the logo, and state my hourly rate of €12. Creating a logo takes me about 3.5 hours, on average. This includes a few revision rounds. It comes down to an average amount of €42,-. You will not have to pay VAT because Inis Design is a small company.
If you agree with my quotation, please sign it and return the signed quotation to me. You can do this via mail, fax or by scanning and e-mailing it. As soon as I have received the signed quotation I can start working on your logo.
I will send you a design by e-mail within two weeks, often with multiple colour and font options. (If you wish to receive the design sooner I will ask for an urgency surcharge of ten euros. You will then receive your design within two working days.) You can also request multiple designs to choose from. The chosen design often requires a few tweaks before it is complete. You will receive these revisions within a week of your reply. (With the urgency surcharge you will receive revisions within one working day of your reply.) I will continue to work on your logo until you are completely satisfied. The invoice will detail the number of hours I have worked on the project. In the event that I need more hours than previously estimated I will naturally ask for your permission to continue working on the project.
When you are completely satisfied with your logo I will send you multiple logo files and an invoice. As a rule you will receive three different sizes (small, medium and large) and three different file types (.EPS, .JPG and .PNG; and, in case of a flyer, a .PDF). This will suffice for any printer, and you can use them on websites and for all other purposes. Please ask if you require any specific sizes or file types. And, in conclusion: enjoy your new logo!
If you have already paid for your logo but you want a small adjustment to be made, for example when your company name has changed, I will modify the logo for you free of charge.
